Morning and thanks again for your time to discuss the website based services we supply Accountants and Financial Planners around the country. Currently we supply websites, content related services such as articles, and marketing planning ideas to several hundred Accountants around Australia.
In short, though, everything we've done for the past 11 years has been for Accountants and Financial Planners and relates to how to use a website based marketing and communications resource to help them attain a Practice's Growth/Client support Objectives.
Firstly, though, there are three concepts I'd like to touch on.
One. A note about our pricing. Industry costs for a website range from $2,500 to $3,000+ and that's just for the site, you still have to do ALL the work. AcctWeb has more than halved this cost but not to make our sites cheap but so we can add two (CMS and an Article flow for Accountants) or more content related services such as the Goanna Bundle* into the project. The end price is similar but the website you receive is vastly more powerful as a marketing and communication resource and such a combination is the only way to have your website help you implement your marketing strategies and, in turn, your Practice and Personal Objectives.
Two. We talk these days of website based marketing and communication solutions, rather than just websites, and supply to some 450 - 500 Practices around the country. However, even this focus is changing as we move to focus less on websites and content related services and more on the marketing strategies you'll employ to attain your overall Growth Objectives into the future and the role a website can play in the implementation of these strategies.
Three. We talk of a website based solution consisting of 5% site, 35% interactive content related services, and 60% strategies. All components are needed if a site is to be of real value in ways such as: overcoming the 6% to 8% Rule; a website, a mini-site and sub-domains to gain better access to existing and potential Corporate Super clients; or Landing Pages to home in on target markets like women or Life Insurance; or a website and email strategy to gain greater penetration of a client database; or presenting a website based client communication model to Accountants and Solicitors to gain access to their clients.
Our sites also come with a comprehensive content management system (CMS). A CMS that also allows our clients to do work themselves on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) at a page level.
* The Goanna Bundle is a collective name for the 9 content related services we provide that help make a site into a proper website based marketing and communication solution. The component services are: 5-6 articles uploaded to the site once a month; an information ticker to provide movement; the client side of our new Financial Tools (click here to test drive the complete system); Secure File Transfer for those clients who want their Accountant to handle private information in a more secure manner; eWombat for clients who like to do some of their own research; a comprehensive Content Management System (CMS) designed for someone with no time, training or prior experience; a year's updating by us of general content; several communiqué during the year on integration and implementation strategies; plus free online training on the Financial Tools. The CMS system also includes the ability for our client to manage SEO issues on a page by page basis.
Costing options?
1. A new website ranges between $1,750 (if only the CMS (2c below) is included), $1,500 if 2-3 content services are included and $1,250.00 if the Goanna Bundle is included. This cost covers the website, animation, database structures, testing, uploading, etc. Should you wish to continue then a 25% payment of the site build cost is due when we start.
2a. 9 Content related services known as our Goanna Bundle @ $1,499 pa or $125 a month if you prefer paid by either DD or Credit Card.
2b. Two content services, one the content management system (CMS) and the second a flow of articles to ensure the website is kept up to date at all times). You can have more services but they soon add up to the discounted Bundle price of the Goanna. These two @ $550 pa.
2c. If only the CMS is taken then it is an annual cost of $225.
3. Optional extras. A Group page structure along the lines of Eden Wiseman @ $295. If you wish us to Host your domain then @ $175 pa. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to help search engine listing @ $165, once-off (a good little service to ensure your site starts life as 'Google' friendly as possible).

For the latter, some examples of our sites can be seen in our Gallery, or if you have a design you like better then we're more than happy to base your project on that.
Also you may already be familiar with Think Stock Photos, but we subscribe to this service which means you can choose 4-6 photos FOC for your site's montage, etc. if you'd like and send us the IDs.
While we work on a mock-up you work on content for About Us, Services and Contact Us. Perhaps even Staff or Principle if you so desire.
